The Wave of Life

Soul Notes: The Wave of Life, 12 March 2010

Know that the anxiety residing in you is ancient, activated by current situations and circumstances. Whether it disappears or whether it remains, permit yourself to ignore it until it fades away, which it will do, as all things will in the rising and falling movement of this Wave you call Life.

Only time brings suffering. Removing yourself from time so that the Isness of Now becomes the Real is the invitation. What is your Now? Is there enough for this moment? Are you alive and knowing your aliveness in this moment? Do you permit yourself to open to the rising of Life in this, the moment of Springing?

You, of all people, have eyes to see and heart to feel the joys of the moment: wrens building a nest in your mailbox. Such a surprise can bring joy, so choose joy rather than worry. Attending to “the next right thing” means simply adding a large note for the delivery person on the screen door and a pouch below the mailbox. This is joy, this is Now. There is no worry in just attending to the next right thing. And so you welcome the wrens’ gifts with all the heart you have; and, with all the heart you have, protect their safety, trusting the rising of Spring, one more wondrous crest in the Wave of Life.

Blessed Be.
