A Place at the Table, 9 December 2010
Dearest Amy, I am always with you, as are all of your Circle of Timeless Ones. Our eyes are upon you; not as your eyes view the world, but through the eyes of spirit and energy we see you and are with you. Seldom does the Sparrow know the Eye is there because the Sparrow doesn’t interpret separation.
You have a sweet tooth that you have let become a craving to express your need for sweet love in your life. It is time to consider not satisfying the sweet tooth, even though it will rebel for a time. Only by sweetly loving the life you lead right now can the life that the sweet tooth craves come to you, if it will come to you. Satisfaction; satiation; fulfillment. These states will never exist if you see the source of such sensations as coming from the outside. Not a complex teaching; you fully understand it. It is time to fully stand upon it.
Eruptions on the face and lips are reminders to you, are “outpicturings” of what must be brought into the light of day. What needs to be seen by you and what of you needs to be seen by others? What are you clenching your teeth about when you sleep? What are you resisting? Today you were fully seen and acknowledged by your group. You have needed this acknowledgment (whether from them or others, the source is not so important), have needed it in order to feel within you that your presence here is fully validated, truly necessary, and of sure service. You received that confirmation today and you knew it, felt it. In fact, your body-presence changed as you received it; you felt more solid – literally – within yourself.
Now you may put away childish things. Take your place at the table and sit with what you’ve earned. (Humans use that word, earn, but it is not quite accurate. We let it stand, though, for it fits your life as you have known it, a life of toil, of always walking uphill with the heavy, burdensome pack upon your back.) You no longer need to grit your teeth and bear those burdens. You’ve always had a place at the table, so sit down, friend, and partake of the fruits of your labors. Relax your jaw and let yourself be fed, let yourself swallow the truth of who you are, a beloved Light that makes this world a lovelier home away from Home.
The birthday passages seem to be complete for one more year.
